Christmas Celebrations

Our Christmas was just fabulous this year. On Christmas Eve we had most of my family come over to sing Christmas carols around the piano and we ended with the cousins acting out The Nativity. It was a fun evening. Christmas morning everyone was surprised with wonderful presents. Santa was good to us all!

Hunter was so excited to give my his present that he made at school. It was a pretty awesome gift. He made me a special Christmas book and he even made the wrapping paper. I love this picture because of his missing front tooth!

I know I'm so spoiled! I got a new bike for Christmas. I've only been able to ride it once because of all the rain, but it is a huge improvement from my old bike. I'm one lucky girl!

I love that Steven was a cow for the Nativity. He was so cute.

Gingerbread Houses

One of our favorite Christmas traditions is making gingerbread houses. The kids have a great time and they are getting better at it each year. Steven didn't put much candy on his house, it mostly just made it into his mouth. Fun times!

Gymnastics

Grace just LOVES gymnastics. She is getting so strong and has improved so much this year. Most of my pictures turned out blurry or were too dark. But here are a few good ones.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is such a great holiday. What can be better than spending time with family, eating great food, relaxing and having fun. Thanks Meme and Poppi for a great week!

Grace and Steven loved driving the lawnmower.

This picture is so cute. Hunter sat on the frozen ground in front of a trap with a raccoon in it and he drew his best raccoon picture ever.

Halloween Fun

As always the kids had many opportunities to dress up for Halloween. What happened to Halloween just being a one day event? Grace and Hunter were glad to have a few options for costumes. I thought they all looked cute. As for me, I really wanted to look scary this year and I thought I did a good job, but when I was done with my make-up Steven said, "mom, you look cute".

Save a Sister Run

October is Cancer Awareness Month. I have a dear friend and two neighbors who are battling breast cancer. My mom got a bunch of family and work friends to run in the save a sister run. I did my first official 5K.

The Perfect Pumpkin

One of our favorite traditions is going to Staheli Farm in October. The kids ask all year long when we get to go again. Some of the highlights this year were: finding the perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, the corn slides, the mini maze, the cow train, the horse swing, the animals & the rope swing.

A Fun Visit

It's always fun for my kids to spend time with their cousins. Danny has been away at college, so it was especially fun to see him the last time he came to visit.

First Day of Preschool

Grace was so excited and a little nervous to start preschool today. She wanted a side pony tail (she loves side ponies) and changed her mind on her outfit twice. Typical girl! She has a class full of girls and I know she is going to have a great year.

what a surprise

so I went out to my garden the other day and to my surprise I found this huge cantaloupe. I think it is some kind of hybrid cantaloupe/honeydew that we planted. We haven't had much success with our garden this year, so the kids were very excited about this.

I finally got to see it! Bruce and I went to Vegas for our anniversary and saw the amazing production. It was so good and good company!

Summer Has Ended

We had an awesome summer and I am so sad to see it come to an end. I'm so lucky to have kids that for the most part get along really well. Here are a few pictures of some of our fun adventures.

Steven loves to be pushed throughout the house on this little car. Luckily for me, the other kids love to push him.

Hunter got to go fishing and he caught a fish. Not the one in the picture though. It's a long story.

The BYU Creamery...yummy! It's a good thing we didn't have money to go there often when we lived in Provo, we would be huge!

The kids with a couple of their cousins at Chuck E Cheeses. I haven't been there since I was a kid. It was fun to see the kids hanging out with some of their older cousins. Thanks Ris and Ethan for hanging out with us!

I just love this picture and I love the people in it! This was a fun day.

Grace at the lake, looking cute. She sure knows how to pose for the camera.

Hunter did great in swim lessons this year. He is swimming like a pro.

Grace at swim lessons. she did awesome! she is a fish and not afraid of anything. She was jumping off the diving board all by herself.
