How awesome is it that an adopted child gets to spend time with their birth mom? All my kids have awesome birth moms. Grace's birth mom came to visit us for a few days and to help celebrate Grace's birthday. We don't get to see her very often because she lives far away so it was nice to have her come so we could get to know her better. She is so much fun. We had a great time having her visit. Grace was sad to see her leave. My neighbor was so sweet to offer to take our picture. She did a great job. Grace is a lucky girl to be loved by so many people!

How great that you get to have that kind of contact with your kids' birthmoms. I'm sure that it's great for all involved. I am hopeful that we will be able to develop something along those lines with Gracie's birthmom. It's a work in progress. :)
