Happy New Year!

I'm not one to party on New Year's Eve, but I decided that we needed to have a party with the kids this year and make things special for them. So we decorated the house with streamer & balloons, we wore party hats, had cake, played games and lit a few fireworks. The evening was made complete by having my parents join us. My kids love ALL their grandparents! Steven decided to sleep through all the festivities even though we were all done at about 8:30pm! The best part of the night was relighting Grace's candle on her cake about eight times and singing, "Happy New Year to You". It doesn't take much to make kids happy!
